The word rugged means "having or requiring toughness and determination." In order to meet and conquer the challenges of life, you need to be rugged. Your nutrition should be the same. Consistency in nutrition provides the necessary building materials for your body to recover from a workout and to propel you through the day.
With the many FAD diets that have imbalances at their core surrounding you, it is important to know where to find reliable nutrition in order to have a balanced health approach. Following the guidelines of healthy nutrition provides balance and the adequate nutrients your body needs to thrive.
We all have the same 24 hours in a given day. The thing that fuels your performance is the food that you eat. We provide quality nutrition choices that are easily planned and prepared, yet they are rugged to enable you to meet the challenges of the day.
We have found that when we care for ourselves physically, we are able to take what ever life throws at us and enjoy work and time with family even more. Some of the things we enjoy doing include hiking, backpacking, trail runs, Spartan races, and practically anything outdoors with family. We love trying new recipes and finding cost effective ways to make our favorite meals healthy.
I have a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. I'm preparing for Physical Therapy school to further expand my expertise.
I have a passion for being able to handle anything life throws me. Fitness and hard work have been a part of me since I was very young. I believe training physically is the first step to self-mastery.
I have a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Nutrition from BYU-Idaho. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
I am passionate about helping people transform their lifestyle, body, and their mindset. I especially enjoy coaching women through strength training as a prep for pregnancy, motherhood, and for longevity. Motherhood is a tough sport and requires rugged strength.
