Before we continue, there are a few rules to go over.
1. Throw perfectionism out the window. Think about how many times a baby falls down while learning how to walk. They have to learn how to stand and then walk one step at a time (literally). It's the same for you.
2. Commit to consistency. Success is not achieved after 10, 20 or even 30 days. There is no one moment in time that you're done eating healthy until you're dead. It gets easier as you build habits that serve you, but you still have to choose health rather than disease.
3. View yourself as already there. The way you act reflects how you view yourself. If you change how you see yourself - as someone that eats healthy (we'll teach you what healthy means), you make the process 10 times easier.
4. Take responsibility for where you are. This is the first step to developing discipline. If you accept responsibility now for your need to change , you can accept responsibility in the months and years ahead when you've completely transformed yourself into the Rugged version of yourself.
In order to make a change, you have to know what kind of a change is needed. What's broken? We'll start out by having you take a self-assessment which will give you a starting point.
Click here to download the assessment.
Next, you'll learn about the basics of nutrition principles, so you can make changes to your health based on your assessment results and an understanding of nutrition.
Organization is key for success. Print out this calendar for your daily tasks for week 1.
This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
This is a content preview space you can use to get your audience interested in what you have to say so they can’t wait to learn and read more. Pull out the most interesting detail that appears on the page and write it here.
